Public Health and Economic Impact of the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program
Client: HIV/AIDS Bureau, Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA HAB)
Mission Analytics Group partnered with Mathematica to develop a mathematical model to quantify the long-term clinical/public health impact and cost-effectiveness of the RWHAP, conduct analyses on the model and publish resultant manuscript(s), and provide training to HAB staff on the model. The results of this model will guide RWHAP planning efforts, identify funding priorities to reach national HIV health outcome goals, and maximize the health outcomes and quality of life for people living with and affected by HIV who are served by the RWHAP. The mathematical model must adequately represent the complexity of HIV epidemiology, disease progression, transmission, and the RWHAP statute.
